Remove Windows Defender from Windows 10 and Windows 8.1

So, I put this up not to tell everyone to do this but more as a troubleshooting method which I had to enable to get iTunes to work correctly.

I was having all kinds of issues with iTunes locking up and just freezing. I read in a forum post on some website that disabling Defender seemed to have solved the issues. I thought I would try it and worked! Now, I am not running my machine without any AV or Malware protection (that's just stupid). I bought Malware Bytes and installed AVAST free AV. All is now well on this end.

Windows 10, by default, will use Windows Defender as your default antivirus if you have no other antivirus installed. If for some reason it did not, or you just want to remove Defender, it isn't simple. If you disable "Real-time Protection" in Settings, it will turn itself back on shortly. It is well embedded into Windows and hence, a real pain to remove. Until now. There are 2 ways to do this.
