Flu season: New Jersey hospitals are full, doctors advise taking precautions to protect against flu!

Damn... looks like it's going to be a bad one this year!

In December, the Center for Disease Control announced that 2015 could bring along with it a severe flu season.

A report released by the CDC on Dec. 6 showed that New Jersey had "local flu activity," while Pennsylvania, Delaware and Maryland all had "widespread outbreaks."

Since then, flu activity in the area has increased, and looks to be on it's way to "severe."

Dr. David Condoluci, quality and patient safety officer with Kennedy Health System, said patients exhibiting flu-like symptoms started hitting emergency rooms about a week ago.
